Printing from ipad to printer

Is there an adapter from an ipad that can be hooked into a printer in order to print manually instead of wirelessly. Is this a possibility and if so, what cable do you use and how does it attach?

I bought a Brother printer for the house specifically for its ability to print wirelessly via iOS. I will say that it can’t differentiate print sizes.
IE-iOS at this time won’t send a print job wirelessly that includes mixed page sizes. This is the only frustration I’ve found on my end but it’s easily worked around.
