I need a printer for the house. Nothing to fancy, just something to print out the occasional pdf file and maybe pictures? Also be able to scan documents and email back. Is that too much to ask?
Can they link to your phone (WIFI) and print from there?

I just picked up a cheap Brother a few months ago. Got tired of spending $100+ on ink cartridges for my HP that never seemed to last long. Brother cartridges are about $30 less than the HP's.

Been through the printer/ink cartridge dance way too many times. Wish they hadn't followed the razors/blades business model 
I recently purchased an Epson EcoTank printer (the ones Shaq endorses) and have been happy with it. More expensive up front, but per-page costs are much lower.

Brother laserjet....check amazon to meet your needs (multifunction, color, duplex, wifi, ethernet, etc)
