Plex ending camera upload feature

fricking hell. First Google keeps screwing around with photo storage, now fricking Plex is ending support for uploading photos from my own phone to my own server? LINK
They're blaming it on Apple and Google making it harder to do, which I guess is legit. They're putting up walls to lock us into ecosystems under the guise of security.

Used to be a great feature but I had nothing but problems with it all of a sudden so starting using Dropbox. Takes a little more time but seems like less issues so far.

Plex is definitely more than an illusion of local control, but it's definitely not complete control. If anything it's probably a gateway drug to self hosting
