I got a new Pixel 7 Pro a couple of weeks ago from work. From the first day I started using it, I have been suffering from eyestrain, mild headaches and nausea. At first I thought it was something else, but after ruling everything out over many days, I realized it is actually the new phone that is causing this issue. This is my first OLED phone and am still using the iPhone 11 (LCD screen) as my personal phone.
Upon further investigation, I have come to realize that there is a whole group of people who are sensitive to the PWM dimming techonology used in these OLED phones like me, and can only use phones that have LCD screens and there is even a Reddit forum dedicated to this issue - https://www.reddit.com/r/PWM_Sensitive/
So is there anything I can do to make this phone usable longterm? Looks like if this is going to be an issue, I can't even get the new iPhone 14, 15 etc. until they move from OELD to micro LED or some other screen technology. Anybody else here in the same boat?

Would refresh rate have any effect? Might be worth toggling between 60 and 120 Hz to see. Settings>Display>Smooth Display.

that was going to be my suggestion. Disable the 90 or 120 Hz option in display settings.

Will give that a try for a few days and report back.
