Phone Case Loosened

Are cases only supposed to last a couple of years? Mine no longer securely keeps my phone from moving around. Is there any way to shrink it down so it fits better? Or just scrap it, and get a new case?

Cases are fairly inexpensive, I'd just get a new one, and obviously not that current brand.

My phone moves around in the case all the time. I read that boiling it in water, then putting it in ice water can shrink it. So I was curious if that worked for anyone here.

Try it and see. I have never had the issue myself.
