Online streaming live TV

Currently have DIRECTV but I also have Hulu Live.
I can make Hulu Live work in my house and on my mobile devices when I’m traveling, EXCEPT I can’t make it work on our travel ROKU stick or ROKU TV (like at tailgate or or at a camp etc).
Really thinking about cutting the satellite but also want a service that doesn’t track my home area if that’s even possible.
Is there a better solution than Hulu Live?
Oh and reason I wanted to keep DIRECTV is solely for Sunday Ticket but they said they didn’t have a Sunday Ticket for online only.
I’m also technologically impaired so I have no idea what VPN is or how to use it etc. so if that’s part of the solution please explain that too.
Any advice welcome. I’m looking to save money. BTW DIRECTV cut my bill in 1/2 when I called to cancel.

My parents switched to DirecTV streaming with the DTV boxes and are pleased with it.
For them, the reliability and picture quality have been much better than Uverse TV and satellite DirecTV.
I'm not familiar with how the price compares.

Hulu only works outside your home with mobile devices.
If you want to use a roku as you travel, you want directv Stream or Youtube TV.

I’m not trying to be obtuse, but I have no idea what that is or how to get one, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Not really required for any of this. You really shouldn't have a need for a VPN except for very specific purposes.
