Older Dell Inspiron - SSD "SMART Event warning -is a crash imminent?

We have an older Dell Inspiron laptop that we use at home.
A few days ago, i noticed a warning for hard drive - a so-called SMART event and that data is at risk. No further specifics.
I backed up the HD which i do irregularly...
Should I be getting the HD replaced ASAP?

SSDs are so cheap now you might as well replace it

Debating whether to get a new laptop or just swap HD. Was just curious if I have to time to decided lol
