I canceled DTv this past week. My bill jumped to $110/month for no reason. No HBO, etc. Basic programming, with the kids package added. I told them to go frick themselves. Haven't missed it yet, but I don't watch TV. The kids seem pleased with Netflix.

I just canceled my U-Verse at the end of this billing cycle. It was set to go up a lot in April after the first year
I'm probably going to get Sling once college football starts back up.
In the interim, I'm fine without anything although I do have netflix and an amazon prime account I could use.

you should both still invest in HD antenna's for your primary televisions. $35-40 and you've got 20-30 local channels of live television including CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC (depending on the antenna and the broadcast satellite). one time fee and past that it's free TV. We could also coach you thru setting up a device to run KODI (more offerings than anything Prime, Hulu, Netflix have). And besides the upfront cost.....it's $0/month lol.
