Plex Server on Nvidia Shield
Been using a laptop with a so-so i5 processor. It's days are numbered and I hate the damned constant Windows 10 updates since I'm using it as a server.
At $199 the Shield is attractive. Of course, the Raspberry Pi is attractive, too, but seems it would be under-powered.
Just looking for user reviews.

I have two Nvidia shield's loaded with all the apps and emus but don't use Plex for either. Sorry I can't offer help regarding Plex on the shield.
All other apps and emus are flawless and smooth though.

Thanks. Did you fork out the extra $100 for each of the 500Gb version units or stick with the 16Gb units?

I bought the 500 gig shield's, it was a mistake imo.
My next will be the 16 gig and add a HDD through a USB hub.
