NORTON trying to auto renew again.

I hate these SOBs. They were able to find my new credit card number and would renew automatically.
They are almost impossible to turn off. I have had not had them for a couple of years now.
But they're still sending emails for me to update billing information.

“To cancel, Sign in to your account and visit the My Subscriptions tab to manage your renewal settings.”

I spent half an hour on the phone trying to cancel. They would NOT do it until a manger called me back. Which never happened.

Man. I remember when Symantic was a great company way back in the day.

I don't remember Symantec bring a great company and I worked for them years back when they acquired the company that I was working. They had to because they were being sued because of code theft.
I do remember Norton being a great company, especially before Symantec bought them.

I'll go with that. I thought it was Symantec the whole time. I remember using Norton products way back in the MS DOS days.

Just contact your credit card company and report it as fraud. Let them fight it for you.

If you go to my.Norton.com you can login and manage your subscription. I’d don’t know if it lets you get a refund but you can turn off auto renew from there.

I called them, told them they've been billing a dead woman for two years, turn the fricking shite off and send a goddamned refund of their last two year's charges. They cancelled immediately and returned the charges.
My mom thanked me afterwards.
