Next smart home upgrade

Since installing the garage door opener I have been looking at more options for smart home updates and things we do now that are a PITA or could certainly be made easier or automated. We have several wifi lights around the house that I have scheduled and that has me thinking I want to be able to do the same with the outdoor accent lights. There are 11 sets of lights mounted on the walls and I am not going to change out all of those, so I think just a wifi switch on the wall would be the best option.
Before I go diving off into this, anything I should know or keep in mind, look for or avoid?

I have some Honeywell Switches that work well for that purpose.

my house is odd in that i have 14 floodlights broken in 3 groups that are controlled by separate switches located all over the damn house.
when we first bought the house i would have to walk around the house turning on/off each switch. then when i moved to smart switches i could use voice to control individually or as a group in alexa but i finally had a brainstorm and now i simply trigger the other lights when any switch is toggled.
in other words, if i'm standing by the front door and flip those lights on, that event triggers the other 2 switches located around the house to also come on. same when i turn them off and same behavior regardless of which switch in the house i'm flipping.
i dont have a use case where i only want some of the floodlights on; i think this was just poorly thought out wiring design.

This one should be pretty straight forward and I realized a bonus issue after posting the question earlier...
The switch that controls the accent lights is on a 2-gang box and plate with the one that controls the eve outlets. I ordered a 2-gang switch and will replace both, so now our Christmas lights that are plugged in to the eve will be controlled via smart switch too.
This then led me to add some smart outlets, which will be used to control all of the other indoor and outdoor Christmas decorations. I'll set up groups to run the schedules. Finally no more jacking with analog timers or going out to plug in lights/decorations.

Update: installed two smart switches and set up my accent lights for sunrise/sunset and the second is ready for Christmas lights. Also picked up 8 WiFi outlets and set up groups and schedules for controlling Christmas decorations.
