I’m not real familiar with LG because it’s not one of my lines. But I’ve done a side by side Sony Z vs A1E with the exact same source with multiple videos. When you pause the video you can really see a lack of detail with the OLED. For instance this one scene showed a hotel at night. With the LCD you could make out the windows on the building on the OLED it was so dark that information was missing. This was in a room with no windows with the lights on and then with the lights off. Next compared a baseball game in UHD HDR. The OLED looked like a movie of a game. The LCD looked like a live game. Like you had the best seat in the house.
Currenty have an A8F side by side with a Q8FN. I prefer the picture on the Q8FN. I watch more sports than anything in my houses.
