I have the Surface Laptop with 8gb of ram. I always have lots of tabs open and mostly do internet browsing. But for work I am using Acrobat Pro, Excel, Word, our website, and I the internet activity. I travel a lot so lightweight is important. This computer lags too much.
I am looking at the new Dell XPS 13 2:1. It has 32gb ram, 512gb SSD, touchscreen, 10th gen Intel, etc etc.
Anyway, because I have a connect there this will cost about $1,600 once I add some extras, tax, etc.
Should I look at another option/brand at this price point or is this a good deal and laptop? I just want to have a computer with no lag and that works really well and will last me a long time.

The XPS was one of my top choices of laptops, and that cost is about $800-$1000 less if you got the same specs on the most recent Surface....assuming that is an i7 processor?

Rule 1: Don't buy hardware from a software company.

Correct, this is an i7. And yep, it would cost over $2k for the Surface with less RAM.
