I am getting 75-80bps when my computer is plugged to my internet via Ethernet but when I switch to WiFi I am only getting 8-9bps download and upload speeds.
I have already tried rebooting the router, resetting to factory settings, and updating the firmware. I'm at my wit's end! It was working fine a couple of weeks ago.
Is it time for a new router or do I have some more options?

try typing the gateway IP in the address bar and making sure your wireless signal speed isn't capped.
It will be a small drop box in the wifi tab.
I believe your gateway should be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

Yep all of them give me about the same speed range.
