having issues with Sony Smart tv connecting Netflix. Have been on the phone with Sony, Netflix & AT&T(Internet provider) over the last two hours and they all suck....still can't connect. Can watch Netflix on my tv in my bedroom using a firestick, but my kids can't watch it on their tv. Had no issues til a few weeks ago and they've been ablt to watch on their laptops...just now getting around to looking at it. Can open other apps and navigate the web on the tv, but can't open Netflix. Any advice?

I had the same issues with my Samsung. I have a fire tv now and it works like a charm.
Try making sure the tv and netflix app have latest update. If you can plug the tv directly into the router. If these won't work try deleting netflix app and reinstalling. If none of this works you can always try mirroring or casting from another device or get a device like a ps4 or fire tv that will do it with no problem.

I prefer using a dedicated streaming device like Roku as the apps on it get updated more often. The apps on my Sony tv from 2011 haven't been updated in a couple years.
