Nest 3rd generation thermostat delaying

Seeing if anyone is having or had this problem with their Nest thermostat. I purchased the 3rd generation Nest thermostat in June and haven’t had any problems with cooling my house. Using the heater for the first time this year and it heats for 2 minutes then goes into delay mode for 3 minutes or so. I checked the reddit threads and a lot of people claims changing the filter solves the problem, but I just changed it on November 1. This constant off/on can’t be good for the heater and my house is not getting any warmer. Any tips?
On a side note, never did see any savings the last 4 months. In fact, my electricity bill was about $25 more compared to the same months last year. Thinking about going back to the old thermostat that was installed when we first moved.

Mine is doing the same. Looks like there was an update on the 8th.

Don’t know if it’s similar, but my nest was having issues with my a/c (but not the heater). A/c would “hiccup” at times- sounded like it had a hard time starting.
The problem was I did not have a c wire.

I gave up on our nest thermostat and just went back to a regular Honeywell thermostat with WiFi. It’s simple and just works.

To be fair I’ve had my nest for 3 years plus with zero issues until now. It’s an overall great product.
