Trying to figure out how to find a location to install a small TxRx exterior device w/antanae on a rooftop of a multistory office building in Baton Rouge. Just don't know where to start. Hoping someone here could point me in the right direction. Is there some sort of clearinghouse for this?? T.I.A.

Begin by contacting the property management company that owns the building.

Hubba with the right answer. Be prepared to open up the wallet if the building has leased the rooftop to a "vertical real estate" management company.
And it's spelled antenna, BTW. US plural is antennas. None of that fancy proper-Brit language stuff for us.

What type of "device?"
Also,is it already licensed by the FCC?
Are you gonna have to drill a hole through the roof to connect the antenna to this device? If the answer is yes then I would highly doubt any property owner would allow this unless you have contractual obligations to provide a service to them.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Usually, city inspectors want a record of what's going in there to insure that the product is rated and poses no poisonous fumes if burned.

Hopefully the case...a nightmare otherwise and I've dealt with it with some multi stories buildings in Atlanta including Coca-Cola HQ.
He still needs to be more specific about the "device" and where exactly he wants to locate it.Many times commercial buildings will have electrical cabinets in the top stairwells or floors.
