So my mom is looking for a new laptop, but doesn't want to spend to much. She is a school teacher and will use it for basic/general use for school and for the grandkids to play on. I found these, any of them any good for the price. She doesn't want to spend more than 500.00, but i couldn't really find anything under that price that seemed to be worth it
Thanks guys

Just tell her to bring one of her students/Boyfriends with her to Best Buy. Millenials know electronics.

Maybe you can find one that is re-furbished on the manufacturer's web site. I have had a refurbished Mac Book Pro and it's been great. I did buy the extra Apple Care Warranty.

If you're comfortable swapping out drives, I'd go with:

$350 Acer Aspire i5
$140 Samsung SSD

If not:

$499 Acer Aspire i7
