Need help with a Netgear Nighthawk M6 hotspot (ATT)

So I got a Netgear Nighthawk M6 from att because I have so many accounts with them changing to another company is a headache, well the fastest speed they offered was 1.5mbps. So I got the net gear nighthawk M6 and 25mbps and it works great but I recently ran into a issue…
I’m trying to hook a netgear night hawk R7000 router to it bc a router produces higher signal strength plus some things I need a direct connection to.
The Nighthawk M6 has 1 Ethernet port on it, I went through the setting and enabled it. And it works, before the nighthawk R7000 router I had a old crappy belkin router connected to it and it was working fine sending a wifi signal, and able to use the Ethernet connections on the belkin
well one day last week the belkin it just all the sudden stopped sending wifi signal and the light was red but everything directly connected to it via Ethernet ports still were getting internet
Chalked it up to it was a old crappy router that needed to be upgraded… well got the nighthawk R7000 and I have the exact same issue.. everything directly plugged into the router gets internet perfect but anything connected to it via wifi gets no internet…
Nothing is connected via Wi-Fi to the M6 only thing connected to it is the nighthawk R7000 via Ethernet port (Ethernet cable plugged in the M6 Ethernet port to the WAN port on the R7000)
Can anyone help or give me some direction to go to have rhe R7000 produce Internet via wifi
and I’ve checked the router and the m6 both are not in pass through mode… like I said it was all working on the crappy belkin and then one day decided to stop

I just got the M6, are you running it as 'always powered' and without the battery? Or are you using as a portable setup?

I have the battery in, and it is always plugged up
So I think I may have figured it out I did a complete factory reset on the M6 and the R7000 when I re-setup the M6 I enabled the Ethernet and let it restart.. the R7000 router after doing the factory reset, I went into advanced settings and changed the IP address to 192.168.2.1 before connecting it to the M6 then plugged the ethernet into the WAN port on the R7000 and the ethernet port on the M6 yanked the battery out and let it sit for 30 secs then re-installed the battery and plugged the power source back into it… and all the sudden it’s works now…
I believe my problem was the IP address for both the M6 and the R7000 were 192.168.1.1 but the M6 forced the R7000 to change it to 192.168.1.40 but in the advance settings on the R7000 the ip was 10.0.0.0
Once resetting everything and changing the IP address in the R7000 before connecting it I think may have resolved my problem… hopefully atleast
