Ok, so we use an Amazon FireTV (for DirecTV Now app) and also an Xbox One S for OTA TV. We have a Harmony Ultimate One with the Harmony Hub where I can just hit 1 activity and have the Xbox One S turn on or the Amazon Fire TV turn on.

Outside of a receiver, which we definitely don't want, what other options do I have?

Note: I currently have the Amazon Fire TV plugged in to the Xbox One S as the "HDMI In" in the Xbox TV Guide app but that forces me to:
1) Hit the Watch TV Activity, which turns on the Xbox One S
2) Use the Amazon FireTV remote for navigation in the Amazon Fire TV.

I hope that made sense.

Why not just use the harmony to control the fire? One activity button tunes the input to the Xbox and another activity button tunes the input to the fire tv.

That depends on if my response made sense.

How? My TV currently only has 1 HDMI input that I can use sadly. If I had multiple inputs I can see where I could just use 2 activities and just swap inputs on the TV.

Looking for something to do that in a device rather than my tv.

Gotcha.

HDMI Switch that will work with the remote. Didn't look for a list of devices but I'd imagine any switch with CEC will work.

I'm basing that off of this.

Found this on Amazon, on of the questions asks about universal remotes to which the responder states it works with their Harmony One just fine.

4 x 2 HDMI Matrix Switch

No personal experience with these but I'd be inclined to trdisagree this one based on feedback I read.
