AMD is better than Intel for general purpose workloads. Once you get into hardware acceleration, especially for media, AMD isn’t remotely close to Intel or Apple and often can’t use hardware acceleration at all.
It’s just a matter of better SDKs and hardware support being baked directly into the libraries that these apps are built on.
