My wife's laptop is crapping out. Thinking of replacing it with a cheap desktop

Her laptop is always on the laptop cart next to the couch.

Figured. . .why pay the extra money for portability for something that never fricking moves.

Seriously, go to Best Buy and get a open box Toshiba laptop. They will likely have one for under $300. I paid $269 for mine in 2010, little fricker still runs great. In some ways it's better than the $1500 ASUS we bought for school in 2015.
