Microsoft office suite sub question?

Bottom line question: Can you share an office family subscription between Apple and Windows machines?
We've (I've) used Windows machines forever and my wife uses a mac for work and likes it. She's thinking about picking up a new Mac. My version of office is old (on cd/dvd) but functional. If she gets a new laptop, can we share an office sub,?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, annual family subscription is for up to 5 users and 5 devices per user. I have several windows devices for myself and my wife has a mac and a windows laptop with office installed. It’s all self explanatory once you login to microsoft site and download the apps on your devices.
