I want to send a mass email using gmail. However, when you BCC if someone replies all then everyone gets the response. How can I send an email out without the chance of everyone receiving each other's response?

I use a google sheets extension called "Mail Merge with attachments" by Digital Inspiration. Create the email you want to send in Gmail and save it as a draft. Use the mail merge extension to send a list of contacts emails automatically.

I have to distribute a pdf to 500+ contacts and this is a great way to do so.

No you BCC who you want and CC with your email address. All reply will not show the BCC’s.

I don't think this is true. I do this pretty often except sometimes I forget and put the email list in the "TO:" field. That makes for a fun time. When I put the list into the BCC: field, I only get single replies.
