Upgraded iPhones over the weekend, and I didn't look too closely when I was picking out a case for mine. I had an iPhone 12 and a slim silicone case on it that worked with my Magnetic chargers at home and at work. I grabbed an OtterBox Commuter for the 14 plus, and realized when I sat it on my charger at home that it wasn't going to work. I see these kits on Amazon that look like some sort of sticker you apply to the inside or outside of your case. Anyone have experience with anything like that? Of course the packaging for the case said wireless charging compatible, but didn't say Magsafe. I don't mind buying a different case, I can always keep this one around but I liked that it was relatively thin and more protective than my other ones.

A sticker could solve your magnetism issue, but it's not going to make the phone charge through a thick case.

It charged it fine last night, and I've checked the one here at work and it charged as well, but it just didn't click into place as easily. I had to make sure I sat it on there just right. This case isn't that thick, one of the reasons I bought it instead of another one. I just wondered if they worked as advertised. My old case it just snapped on to easily. I may just take this one back and order from the same brand as my old case. Thanks.

I have a 13 mini w an otter box defender case. (hard plastic shell with rubber outer covering) so two layers of case. I have to place my 13 mini on the sweet spot for it to charge. It may take a time or two placing it on the charger to get charging activated.
