Sound link mini does jam, but I don't know if I'd use it at a tailgate. I've used it traveling and on a fishing boat but don't think it would be loud enough for a tailgate party. Might want to up your budget and get a Soundcast Melody.

lol have you ever tried using a mini-BT box at an event with more than 10 people outdoors?

you wont even hear it 20 feet away.

That's why I didn't recommend the Sound Link for a tailgate. I've used the crap out that product and don't recommend it for that application.

Sam's in Denham has 87 in stock. They are on sale for 98 bucks but sale ends today.

Edit- forget Sam's for the block rocker. It's the non updated version with only one USB port and metal corners. They do however have the monster rockin roller 2 for 129 which is just as awesome with better sound quality. No mic though.

Edit 2- Went on ions website and alot of new products are dropping in the coming months.

I'm waiting on the block rocker splash. IPX4 water resistant, more power (100 watts), bigger battery (100 hours), and all the same features of the regular block rocker. Nice new design too.

They also are coming out with the tailgater splash. It's smaller and more compact. 6.5 in speaker @ 50 watts. Really nice device.

Tailgater express. 4 in speaker @ 20 watts.

All sport the same features of bluetooth, NFC, mic, water resistant, etc...
