My 90 year old gamgam is getting pissed about not being able to hear dialogue when watching her stories. I understand where she's coming from as I have the same issue. But I know how to switch from the standard 5.1 audio setting on Netflix, Prime, HBOGO, etc... to stereo, which helps the issue immensely. It's going to be tough to teach her how to access that setting in a million different streaming services, plus she'd have to do it after each episode of whatever she watches on Netflix/Prime.

She has a standard 2-channel soundbar, which doesn't do any good. Does anyone have experience with a soundbar that includes a center channel that helps with the quiet dialogue issue? Not looking to break the bank, she's not picky about sound quality, she just wants to hear what people are saying.

If need be, I'll just get her a small receiver, proper center channel, and two smaller monitor type speakers.

ZVOX Sound bars have Accuvoice technology for the hearing impaired. I have the much larger 700 series sound stand but the technology is the same.
