You need the Sling device that connects to your antenna and connect to your LAN.

Sling will typically send you an Air2 device which transmits the OTA signal to the app. You either have to do that or switch inputs and watch locals on the TV input

Check that your antenna is strong enough. Try AntennaWeb. You can search with your address to determine the best antenna type to use. I am in Old Jefferson, just outside of Baton Rouge, and I have to use a large roof mounted antenna for local.

Did you try putting one by a window or in your attic instead? Mounting antenna on the roof sounds like a PITA.

Why?

Im at Jones Creek and Jefferson. I have my sling antenna mounted my attic pointing westish. I used the direction antenna web told me to aim it.

I pick up every channel for baton rouge.
