LED Lights for Perimeter of Room

I have ~ 16'x14' room in the basement that my kid is turning into a guitar jam room/studio. He wants LED lights around the ceiling perimeter. It's a drop ceiling, so I can hide cords. It does have some extra corners due to a closet and a empty space for a built in.
Any brands recommended or tips would be appreciated.

get him some RGB (Red/Green/Blue) LEDs. that way he can change the colors if he wants (with a remote). also, Lowes sells them. i recommend GE. they can be linked together and plugged into an outlet.

Thanks for the recommendation. I don't need the Alexa/Wi Fi component. I would like the RGB w/ remote.

Since this is the tech board and since you mentioned music, I will suggest making the LEDs react to sound. I like the DIY route with WLED+LEDFx like so, but there are also many strips that do this out of the box.
