I'm doing some selling as an online shop and print labels through Shopify for UPS and FedEx. I live in a large building where these guys stop daily and take a few packages out with them, but am trying to make sure they're good taking whatever volume we end moving.

I had my girlfriend ask them yesterday because I was on a meeting, and she came back upstairs and said "they'll take whatever we have, we just need to tell UPS and FedEx!." I said what do you mean, who do you tell there? Phone number? Website? She did not know.

So my question is: do any of you coordinate outgoing packages with these services? Is there a cost associated if they're already at your address? Is there an online portal to accomplish this?

probably something through your account with the carriers...check around in your account settings or maybe just need to call both places and ask how to inform them of pickups each day

It's $16 per week for daily pickups. You have to call and set it up.

I've read that, but I'm curious if that applies if they come here daily anyway.

If you're printing a label with their systems they will already know what you have.

I was wondering if this was the case, internet info is sparse. I use Shopify labels, might switch to Shipstation or something similar at some point one I start selling beyond my site.
