Just got got a threatening email....Trojan Horse

says he has a trojan horse in my computer and has all of my contacts. Wants he send him 900 bucks in bitcoin. I couldn't figure out how to do that if I tried!!! Is this real?

For the record these are emails going around due to some sites getting compromised and the list of emails and passwords being sold and floated around.

I got one too. They wanted $610. They sent it to a e mail address that I very rarely use and is not associated with any of my contacts. It is pure BS. Delete the e mail.

That’s fake. There’s a list of all the fake emails like that on Reddit. Thousands of people have received the exact same email as you, which means it’s spam
