I am trying to connect a speaker to a Jiohoo projector so that I have the ability to watch a move and have access to increased volume. I have the ability to connect iPhone and lightning adaptor to projector and see picture and hear audible through the projector only. I have a Bose Color II Soundlink that I can sync to phone when it is not connected to the projector. The second that I connect to projector everything disconnects. I have also tried to connect Bose with cables and adaptors to projector directly, but nothing. Thank you in advance.

Answer: Ran Bose through phone to projector. Works fine.

Model of the projector? No promises. This is an unusual request. Projectors aren't audio sources.

ETA: Doesn't work like that from what I can see. You need a speaker with analog inputs. It's on the Jinhoo FAQ.

Jinhoo M20. Manual is a joke. Looked for some recommendations online, and there were as many people that said that it could be done as said that it couldn't. Thanks for helping

Do you have an AV receiver?

I do inside inside for the home system. I am trying to set up a place for the kids to view a movie in the backyard by a fire pit. Nothing great, just a little volume to the projector. Is there an AV receiver and speaker that is battery operated and portable that you have ever come across?

No, I don’t know of any solutions like that. How about a Firestick? You could output to your Bose speaker via Bluetooth.

Great idea though. I wish projectors were reasonably priced when my kids were young. They would have loved it.

I’m not familiar with that projector or the hose stuff, but when we do ours outside, I use a guitar amp and run the sound out of the headphone jack on the projector we have. Works for outside.
