Is there ever a BOGO Free iPhone promo without adding another line for ATT?

I'd like to upgrade and would love a BOGO Free promo so the wife can have a new one as well. I saw a promo recently but noticed in the fine print it was only good when adding another line to the account. Do the sales around black friday or other times of the year every include a pure BOGO free promo no fine print?

One of you can change your phone number. Other than that the best deals are the $300 Wal-Mart gift cards on Black Friday.

I just switched over from Sprint and got the BOGO, great deal (assuming they give me the credits). I'm going on a long international trip, though, and was wanting to unlock my phone and didn't read the fine print and it looks like I'll have to pay off the phone in order to do so. I'm worried that this will screw up my credits. I don't have any intention of leaving ATT, just want to use a dual international SIM for a few weeks in addition to my ATT plan which was part of the reason I upgraded. Anybody have any experience with this? Also to above poster, be sure to look closely at offers because they go back and forth on if you need to have DIRECTV to qualify.

No because the only reason they do the promo in addition to another line is to lock you up in a contract

I’ve heard of people porting their current number to google voice and then porting it back in as a “new” line.
It could work if your phone is out of contract.
