Is it possible to cast my iPhone screen exactly as it appears using Chromecast?

Casting luddite here. In other words, my TV screen mirrors exactly what is being shown on my iPhone.

For example, me typing this post would be shown in real time on my TV while casting.

The apps I have tried from the Appstore have all been shite.

Thanks much!

What TV are you using? I can cast my iphone screen to my Samsung TV without using any apps on my iphone.

Connect your iPhone or iPad to TV on the same Wi-Fi network

Open Control Center
Tap Screen Mirroring
Select your TV

Thanks. This is on an old plasma Samsung without any smart TV features.

Maybe chromecast will show up in screen mirroring I will check it out when I am back home.
