iPhone 8 and it appears my tiny spear holes are filled with debris
I tried cleaning the little holes out with a toothpick and the end of a paper clip.. too big
Does anyone have suggestions on what to do here. I can’t hear shite and I have been told that the people I talk to on the other line can hear shite but a mumbled mess
Thanks... the phone is only a year or so old when I bought it

I've used a small bristle brush in the past. Something like a toothbrush or pipe cleaner.

Speaker near the bottom or receiver? While the debris may appear to obstruct the speakers and mic on the phone, the audio issues may be in the receiver on the top of the display on the phone.
To start, I would recommend using painters tape and gently press it into the speaker gaps. It is extremely gentle and generally does the trick. If afterwards issues persist, CAREFULLY use a clean brush, preferably non-static to clean out the Speaker vents. Follow up with low moisture isopropyl wipes to remove debris.
When cleaning out the vents, you do not want to puncture the mesh inside the receiver or the speaker. When in doubt, take it to Apple or an authorized repair facility, they have a diagnostic to test audio quality, but it requires a dock to run.

Download the "Sonic V" App from the Itunes store.

It emits frequencies that help clear debris from the speaker. It helped clear my speaker when I dropped my phone in my pool. shite is amazin.
