Iphone Craps Out During Update Stuck on Iphone Logo

This morning, my iPhone 13 Pro Max decided to take a dump and get stuck on the boot logo. I couldn't do anything with it. I had to use iTunes on my computer to factory restore it and get my iCloud back up from 2 days ago.
Not sure if it was due to the new update that was just released a few days ago.
I almost went to an Apple store thinking it was a hardware issue, luckily I have AppleCare+ if it was a hardware issue and a 2TB iCloud storage for all the other stuff to wipe the device and restart from scratch.
The only hard part was trying to remember my Apple ID password and logging into the email accounts that I only accessed on my phone. Luckily, I was able to log into a work computer that had all the information for me to get the two-factor authentication codes.
My phone is now downloading the last backup from iCloud. The crazy thing is I am leaving on a trip tomorrow heaven forbid the phone stops working when you needed it most for a boarding pass, luggage tag, or a confirmation number that was emailed to you.
