iPhone 13 Pro dropping cell signal issues

Have the 13Pro and it has been losing cell service repeatedly during a call. Will drop 3-4 times during a 10 minute call. Happens in different areas.
Also frequently drops cell signal when I turn the phone off and on.
Tried disabling 5G, resetting network settings, etc... but nothing seems to work.
Anyone else experience something similar?

Maybe replace the Sim

Don't have a physical sim, using esim. My next move will be to try and get a sim card from Verizon and see if that helps.

..iOS 16.2 dropped too…update that and see what happens.
