iOS 16 issues with text messages

It sucks and I’m having trouble putting my finger on what and why? Anyone else notice this? The ‘talk to text’ doesn’t turn off on its own, Siri has no idea the words I say, I try to hit the microphone to stop ‘talk to text’ and end up hitting “return” a ton of times.
It’s just all around worse.
Anyone else or is it just me?

Mine is fine on a 14 pro with the latest's update.

14 Pro Max. There was an update when I turned the phone on. No issues. None of that camera nonsense either.

Did you try turning the phone off and then on again?
