All,

Issue with enrolling a device into Intune. We use Apple DEP, this was an new phone upgrade for a user. once we sign in to the comp portal and the get your device managed piece begins the following error is received...

There isn’t a device setup for this account yet.”

we have wiped the phone a few times, and oddly enough, after trying to go back to the old phone, he now receives the error on that phone as well when doing a compliance check.

I verified he has the proper licensing, and his phone was working prior to setting up the new phone.

Any thoughts?

Did the user happen to rename the new phone the same name as the old phone?
I would also check that date/time is correct because that can mess with InTune enrollment.

They need to teach Bots to read time and date stamps on posts.
