Looking to possibly replace a 63" TV with a Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector. This will allow us to pivot the focal point of our great room and not have a tv on wall. Im an IT person and couple years ago I got Dell projector as replacement for tv and everyone loved it's capabilities and minimal footprint.
So I'm trying to see what will provide the best in our home and plan on doing it right with a screen vs paint, we want option to roll up screen and have shite out of sight if desired. Knowing that this can be a $2K-$5K adventure, I do want to make sure I choose something that will hopefully exceed my needs. I'm building a list based off reviews and articles, but would like firsthand experiences and recommendations from the good folks of the Tech Board. Thanks!

Look at LG laser. I have had their hu810p for a year now and it has been excellent.

outstanding to hear and thanks. I've seen LG, Epson, Optoma, BenQ and Hisense as most notably written/reviewed. I'm trying to find a place where I could possibly get it this weekend once decided, lol...think im too ambitious for this weekend

I have a Vava 4k and it’s pretty solid, but a few years old. I’m sure there are better options for the money now. UST is definitely the way to go though IMO.
