Having a "great idea for an app" but not knowing how to code is like having a "great idea for a novel" and having no idea how to write.

I'd be cautious about investing anything with someone that doesn't know the difference of an idea and an ideal way to share it.

This thread kinda reminds me of the scene in "The Internship" when the guy thought he had a great idea about an app that would take a photo and post it anywhere "on the line" you wanted. The young guy kept trying to tell him already existed.

can't disagree with any of this. all I have is an idea that as far as I know, nobody else has. Probably worthless.

Ideally, your idea would be very profitable and successful. I’m just not sure the idea will be so wonderfully ideal.

Why do you keep using the word ideal?

With all due respect, i’d have my doubts going into a new business with someone who has pretty much laid out how lazy they are right out the gate

You’re basically telling someone, listen to what I say, create it, tweak it, produce it, distribute it, and then hand me some money

Your idea may be great, but your work ethic and drive seems like shite. Good luck

Can you at least give us an idea of what your idea is? You don't have to give it all away, but what does it involve?

Jeff,

Email me: bobrosstdemail@mail.com

I've got programming experience. I'll sign a NDA and tell you if it's a dumb idea or not.
