I think my phone number landed on some telemarketing list today

I have been getting spam calls all day since this morning...almost every 5-10 minutes. I am blocking the numbers as they come in but is there anything else one can do about this besides changing your number? I definitely don't want to do that so I will stick it out to see if it stops.
I am on the DNC list already although I don't think anybody follows that anymore anyway.
