I need help finding a laptop fory son

The school technology page says any laptop with 6gb ram, 128gb hardrive, anti spyware and window 7 or 10 pro. I want him to have a light weight and small screen. There are way too many options out there and I can't really zero down to a few I like. Touch screen isnt a must but he has a disability so I think he may prefer a touch screen I stead of always using the track pad.

Any ideas on a good what to get?

FYI...he is 7. He is getting it because he can't hand write and keep up with his peers. This school normally has the kids get laptops in 3rd so I don't think the tech specs are necessary at this time.
