How to save emails from Outlook365 when getting a new email address?

My wife is changing jobs and is going to lose access to her current email address. She wants to be able to keep access to these emails as her new job is a similar profession in the same industry. The information and contacts in her past emails can come in handy.
Any recommendation on how to keep an electronic copy of these? I know she could always print them to pdf or forward them to a personal email address, but these aren't very efficient methods.

Export them to a PST file.
In Outlook:
File
Open & Export
Import/Export
Export to a file
Outlook Data File (.pst)...

Thanks for the recommendation. Just looked up on how to import the pst file back into outlook. That looks perfect.

I know nothing about the situation but this first paragraph almost reads like the intro to a question on an ethics exam.

Not sure of the legality of exporting the email that her employer owns. You have the correct instructions on how to do it though.

I appreciate the warnings, but I don't foresee any issues. There is no proprietary or confidential data.

Famous last words.

Could be a really large file (the PST file), so make sure you have a large enough thumb drive or portable hard drive to make the transfer...assuming this will be different computers and such.

Anything she did on her employers systems is 100% the employer's property. I can pretty much guarantee that they wouldn't approve of her doing this.

Especially when you add this

I'd be very careful if I were the op's wife. Businesses can be ruthless after an employee leaves, even if departing on good terms.
