Looking for these light to go on my front porch and in mt lifing room that can do different colors. I have 2 sylvaina zigbee bulbs but their colors just arent very bright. Im noticing most of the newer bulbs/inserts are now wifi which is ok only if i can flash esphome or tasmota.
So does anyone have any experience of these?
DigiBlur has these on one of his videos but that are almost $30 per light but they are 14w, probably the brightest Ali Express
These come to $13 a piece and are 9w. Im assuming they are tuya convertible. but not completely sure.
LINK
Andi found these on amazon, and then i saw they are digiblurs list of recommended devices so that might answer my question if they are tuya convertible. tey are 12.3w and around $18
LINK
So assuming they are all tuya convertible i think #3 would be the best buy for brightness/cost. then it would be a tough choice to get the more expensive ones are $30/light for bright or cheaper $13/light.
thoughts?

The only issue I've had so far is you flip them off and on twice to put them back in pairing mode. The wife tends to do that :/
The good news is if you just flip them off and wait a few seconds and turn them back on they are fine and reconnect by themselves
Just don't panic and try repairing them all again.
Alexa works great with them too including calling out colors to change.
Oh and I did have to group them in Alexa so I could change them all together. The groups in the feit app don't get imported to alexa.

You can avoid this by not connected the light to the switch. Wire the switch and light in parallel.
When the switch is turned on it sends it's state to your hub then the hub turns your light on. If you turn the light on, you should turn the switch on from the hub.
This is how I handle 3-way smart switches that are not 3 way capable.

tell me more. i have several smart switches i havent installed yet. i have a 3way light in the garage w/ a jasco/ge switch and the wife is CONSTANTLY flipping the other one off which drives me nuts.
can you expand a little bit on how this would work? i'm not familiar w/ the concept of 'wiring in parallel'.

Wire the switch for power only. But send the light main power instead of the contact from the switch.
This makes it so the light always has main power even if the switch is turned off.
The only downside is if your hub goes down the light switch won't change the state of the light.
On the image below, the load wire attached to the switch would be attached to the line wire like the neutrals on the other side of the switch.

Cad- how do the feet bulbs compare to Hue? We just moved to a new house and I am looking at smart lighting options. In our old house I opted to keep dumb bulbs and only install smart switches. I’m thinking of going with smart color tuneable bulbs this time around.

pro - much much MUCH brighter whites than hue. brilliant whites from 2600K to 6000K.
con - a little clunky to setup initially, doesn't have the great hue app and developer support
pro - works very well with alexa
con - don't like the 'flip twice to return to pairing mode'
con - colors are much dimmer than white; it will do just about any color you ask but they seem like the light is dimmed at 50% when you change from white to color. maybe i didnt notice with hue bc the white wasn't that much brighter than the colors.
