Heos Amp/Denon 3700 receiver?

I purchased a X3700h today for my living room surround 5 8’s,one Klipsch pro 1000 in wall sub and 4 8’s on my back porch. They recommend I buy a Heos amp so I could listen to both zones at once and control from my phone.
I’ll have a TV in my living room and two on my back porch. I only want the 4 speakers outside to work off one TV and the other will have the sound turned down.
My question is could I accomplish the same thing with buying the 4700 with Heos built in and eliminate the Heos amp? I will have to buy a amp to power my sub anyway because they said the Heos wouldn’t work for that.
I will be purchasing a x6700 for when I finish out my media room sometime next year and don’t want to buy something that I really don’t need.

Splitting hairs there, but will depend on your sources and services. How these things are hooked up and the way you use them makes the difference. If you pay MSRP I believe you are looking at the same price either way. You will get more power with the 4700 and the ability to do a second HDMI zone, but buying a HEOS amp you add another streamer. No matter what you will need a sub amp.
I have the predecessor to the 4700. It’s a beast! I have it running my living room, bedroom, and kitchen.
Congratulations on finding a quality receiver, covid has inventory all jacked up in the CI channel.

I’m more than likely going to use cox and I have a 100 FT HDMI running from my media closet to my downstairs TV along with cat 6 and coax. Then I’ll have two small boxes on the back of the TV’s outside with two Cat 6 and coax behind both.
All TV’s TV’s are Samsung smart TV’s and I have 2 Apple TV’s and a Fire Tv. Being hardwired I can stream Most of the things I want to want off the TV. I also have a 25 foot HDMI ran to my media room but I probably won’t have a box for it and just stream movies from Apple or amazon.
