Help the old guy out (iPhone)

I recently updated to iOS 15 and now I can’t figure out how to copy/paste images on this board. Now, I copy the image, but when I click the img option to paste it here and tap, all I get is a “scan text” option. What am I doing wrong?
ETA: the problem seems to only be in Chrome. It works like before in Safari.

I see you figured it out, but am curious as to benefits of Chrome over the standard Safari on the iPhone? Is it, because of the syncing?
