Just bought a 65” LG OLED. I’ll be mounting it on the wall at kind of an awkward height. The bottom of the tv will be about 4.5 feet off the ground. In your opinion, is this too high for a flush mount setup with this type of tv? Or should I get a tilt mount?

I'd get a flush mount. 4.5 feet is pretty low.

Let me clarify. It will be mounted less than a foot above a piece of furniture. The piece is a standard height entertainment center/shelving unit. I know there isn’t such thing as “standard” but it’s regular table top height. (Sorry I can’t give you an exact measurement; the piece is in a POD and will be delivered next week.) so I’m guessing it’s about 3-3.5 feet.

Flush mount.

Unless its about 6ft up and viewing from a close distance you don't need a tilt.

I have a 65" mounted above a fireplace mantle, bottom of tv is close to about 6 feet off ground I'd say, our seating distance is about 12-15 feet away though but looking at it is very slightly tilted down but looks flush still. Just got a cheap Cheetah full motion mount off amazon.
