Has anyone heard when Galaxy S6 active will be available

I've read most articles that state that the middle of the summer is likely the time frame but I just came across something that it could be April 10. I am trying to hold out for the Active but April 10 seems pretty early considering not much has been said about it.

I've heard summer or fall. I couldn't wait that long and got the Edge. The battery isn't blowing my mind but it is doing well brand new. One thing I really like is the battery saving modes. If you need to really save some battery just flip it Ultra Savings and it will do work. I use the regular savings mode and it improves battery life pretty decently. You slow down your processing but if you don't mind it not flipping through apps as fluidly you'll be fine.

it's pathetic that you have to cripple one of the newest phones on the market to squeak out battery life. Good job Samsung!

I am trying to hold out for the active because of the bigger battery and the micro slot. As for as the Edge goes, is the extra money worth it over the S6? What do you like/not like about the edge. I have the S3 so it should be a nice upgrade (not matter what option I go with).

I was in the same boat as you with the S3. The edge is a bit gimmicky but I tend to check my clock with it. I also find that I like the way the screen looks with the curve. I really haven't done everything with it. If you don't care about $100 go ahead and do it.

if you want an s6, you might as well just get an iPhone. Samsung dropped the ball so bad on this one.

"what can we do to make our new flagship phone completely different than the last 5 phones we made? Oh good idea, make it look exactly like an iPhone"

I don't have a problem with them taking the good stuff from Apple. You'll never see me bashing their product. I just don't care for iOS.

the good stuff from Apple? Non removable battery and no sd card slot?

Some of the design is similar. As far as those concerns, they never bothered me in the first place. So why be concerned with it now?

If you look at the specs, it says "no expandable memory"

I'm holding on to my S5 active until the s7
