also make sure you buy a switch capable of PoE output because you'll find alot more use for that than you realize.

Built a house 2 years ago. Went all wireless and haven't had a problem.

If you are 100% certain that you will never install security cameras, and will never own equipment that requires the speed and reliability of hard wire, and believe your data needs will never outstrip the capabilities of wireless, and do not believe the lack of wires will impact your home value, then sure, go wireless.
Otherwise, spend the relatively small amount of money to build a proper network.
